Over the last few years, Xiaomi has unlocked the secret recipe to sustain in the price-sensitive Indian market, but recently we have noticed many competitors like ASUS, Nokia and even Honor following a Xiaomi’s footstape with their latest budget phones. Xiaomi is the current leader in smartphone market with extensive range of budget devices, and with their newly lunched sub-brand POCO they seem to continue the trend.
Recently, Huawei took a shot at Xiaomi’s market share in India by launching their gaming smartphone Honor Play equiped with their propietary Kirin 970 chipset for just Rs 19,999. Now Xiaomi responded quickly with POCO F1, which positively surprised everyone with a price tag that seems both unbelievable and unbeatable with Snapdragon 845. The release of Poco F1 with Snapdragon 845 processor will make it the cheapest smartphone in the market rigth now. Obviously, smartphone users and tech enthusiasts are just wondering now- “how did they managed to keep the price so low?”.
Poco F1 will be available for purchase from 29th August 2018, exclusively on mi.com and Flipkart. POCO F1 will retail at an aggressive price of just Rs 20,999, Rs 23,999, and Rs 28,999 for the 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB variants respectively. The Limited Armoured Edition will also become in a single 8GB+256GB specification and will be sold at Rs 29,999. All the devices will come with Snapdragon 845, 6.18-inch FHD+ (2248 x 1080 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It also gets Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 12MP Sony IMX363 primary sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size and a 5MP secondary sensor.
Poco F1 powered by Qualcomm strongest SoC already promises a fast performance and a phone built for heavy usage. In order to avoid any overheating during heavy use, it is equipped with state of the art liquid cooling technology.
